format Size then a L, i.e. “2L”)
Original Standard power for Dot, Dot 2 & Alera (typically marked 2) referred to as NP or
newer S type receiver wires are compatible with ReSound Dot, Dot2, Alera, Verso and
LiNX. NP is the previous style and needs an RIC dome, whereas the newer S wire
needs a thin tube dome. The S wire is preferred (the dome is held on more securely).
New (High) Power HP for Dot, Dot 2, Alera, Live, Verso and LiNX (typically marked 2P)
In styles HP or HP2. HP is the previous style and needs a RIC power dome (with a
square shank), the newer HP2 takes a thin tube power dome. The HP2 wire is
preferred (the dome is held on more securely).

How to maintain the SPORTS LOCK
The new receiver wire is a little different to the older style. The head is slightly angled to the natural
direction of the average ear canal. For the power version, the overall dimensions are reduced - this can
have a dramatic effect on comfort, fit quality and ultimately, sound production.

The newer type receiver wire: For Ace Binax / Micon and Pure Binax / Micon. Smaller, more
ergonomic fitting. Easier to see the colour marking right and left. Top fixing fits on sideways rather
than face-on, like previous version. Medium Receiver is now smaller, improved design (from July 13).
To fit, dislodge the retaining pin sideways 1mm*. The receiver wire can be pulled away from the
shell. push the new unit on, then press down the pin, flush to the body.
Explanation of the 3 strengths offered: The standard receiver head is silver in colour, as is the
medium - the medium’s sides are all similar in size, with the standard’s rectangular. The standard
has a ‘v’ shaped plate on 2 sides, and the medium has a rectangular ‘plate’ on the side. The power
receiver is gold in colour. Click on the picture to the left to see close-up.

Siemens Click MiniReceivers type 2.0 Ace & Pure
For Centra Active, Cielo and Cielo 2 Active, Pure 300, 500, and 700, Pure 101, 301, 501, 701. Also,

FITTING TIP: Present to the hearing aid slightly cocked to the left, place on and turn clockwise - it will
click into place. The medium receiver is bigger than the newer 2.0 design, above
Click domes MUST be used with Click receivers.

Starkey Receivers
Standard receivers (with round top fitting) For older models like Zon, E series,
S series, 3 Series, X Series, Wi Series, SPECSAVERS products numbered *2*, Ignite
(in 50dB and 60dB versions - the 40dB version is now discontinued - call us if you
used 40dB receivers previously).
And snap-fit receivers (oval-shaped top fitting) (in 50 or 60dB) for newer
models (most wireless products such as Z Series, 3 Series Wireless, Xino Wireless,
Products with “i” before a number, such as i110, i90 etc.)
Which type:
if the aid is 3+ years old and has a large chrome mic cover on the back / top you
probably need std. starkey receivers. if your aid mic guard is not chrome, and is
newish (<2ish years) you'll probably need the snap fit type.

Oticon Bernafon RITE & Mini BTE Receivers
For older models Oticon Agil Pro, Agil, Acto Pro, Acto, Ino Pro and Ino, Older Epoq RITE,
Vigo, Vigo Pro and Vigo Connect, Hit Pro and Hit with RITE speaker wires. Also
compatible with Oticon products renamed by Hidden Hearing (examples are K220, K210,

use a pen tip to push release on the underside slot, then pull the receiver away. Click the
new one into place.
Standard receivers have just a number on the tip, Red for right, Blue for left.
Medium receivers have a number followed by a YELLOW DOT (with a letter M inside)
